If you have a high speed internet connection and are looking for a way to watch internet video on your TV, take a look at the Roku Streaming Player (

The main feature most people use is Netflix Instant Watch streaming (Netflix account required). The Netflix ( streaming library includes over 50,000 movies and TV shows. A streaming only Netflix account is just $7.99/month. Adding a 1 DVD out a time is just a few dollars more.

But, it doesn't stop there. Other channels on the Roku are YouTube, Facebook photos, Amazon Instant Video (free with an Amazon Prime membership).

Two channels that I personally watch regularly are Revision3 (, and internet TV network featuring technology and pop culture oriented shows like Tekzilla and Hak5, and (, another Internet TV network featuring technology content run by former TechTV host Leo Laporte.

Other channels include MLB.TV ($80/year subscription) which allows you to walk all home and away games of any Major League team.

The Roku Streaming player starts at $59.99 and goes to $99.99 depending on the features.
