Roku - Netflix and much more

If you have a high speed internet connection and are looking for a way to watch internet video on your TV, take a look at the Roku Streaming Player (http://www.roku.com)

The main feature most people use is Netflix Instant Watch streaming (Netflix account required). The Netflix (http://www.netflix.com) streaming library includes over 50,000 movies and TV shows. A streaming only Netflix account is just $7.99/month. Adding a 1 DVD out a time is just a few dollars more.

But, it doesn't stop there. Other channels on the Roku are YouTube, Facebook photos, Amazon Instant Video (free with an Amazon Prime membership).

Two channels that I personally watch regularly are Revision3 (http://www.revision3.com), and internet TV network featuring technology and pop culture oriented shows like Tekzilla and Hak5, and TWiT.tv (http://www.twit.tv), another Internet TV network featuring technology content run by former TechTV host Leo Laporte.

Other channels include MLB.TV ($80/year subscription) which allows you to walk all home and away games of any Major League team.

The Roku Streaming player starts at $59.99 and goes to $99.99 depending on the features.

So, what's your choice for a Netflix or other streaming video choice? Share in the comments section.
